«Dos historias nada decentes» is the book of two stories by Alan Bennett, published by Editorial Anagrama in paperback (160 pages, in Spanish).
Mrs Donaldson plays patients in a hospital and accepts an unorthodox deal with two students to whom she rents a room: her life changes. In the second story, snobbish Mrs Forbes won't accept her handsome son marrying vulgar Betty, and her husband fears being left alone with her. Two ironic portraits of the middle class.
The book belongs to the Panorama de narrativas collection (number 826), translated by Jaime Zulaika. The original title is «Smut. Two Unseemly Stories».
Suitable for adult readers who appreciate ironic British narrative and portraits of customs with acid humor.
