«Du sang sur la Baltique» is the crime novel by Viveca Sten, published by France Loisirs / Albin Michel in paperback (439 pages, in French).
On the Swedish island of Sandhamn, during the start of the popular summer regatta, lawyer Oscar Juliander dies from a gunshot to the chest. Detective Thomas Andreasson and his friend Nora Linde investigate among the crowd; clues point to jilted lovers, professional rivals, and victims of his fraudulent business dealings.
It is the second installment of the Sandhamn Murders series. The Swedish original, I den innersta kretsen, was published in 2009; the French translation is by Rémi Cassaigne.
For readers of crime fiction and Nordic thrillers, especially those who enjoy mysteries set in Swedish coastal communities.
