«Eat Your Peas» is the children's picture book by Kes Gray and Nick Sharratt, published by Red Fox in paperback (32 pages, in English).
During dinner, Daisy refuses to eat the peas on her plate. Her mother tries to persuade her with increasingly absurd offers: forty-eight ice creams, never having a bath again, two new bicycles, and even a baby elephant. The higher the stakes, the firmer Daisy remains, in a funny battle of wills with illustrations by Nick Sharratt.
It belongs to the Daisy Book series and won the Children's Book Award 2001.
For preschool children and early readers, especially suitable for addressing food preferences at the table.
Kes Gray is a British author of children's books.
