«Edelmiro II y el dragón Gutiérrez» is a children's theater book by Fernando Lalana, published by Editorial Bruño in paperback (144 pages, in Spanish).
It brings together two short comedies set in an imaginary, zany Middle Ages, where kings, maidens, dragons, wizards, alchemists and troubadours get caught up in mix-ups and chases. The whole aims for a continuous humorous effect and works well as quick reading for children new to theater.
It belongs to Bruño's Altamar collection and includes illustrations by José M.ª Lavarello Camicia. First edition published in 2008.
Recommended for readers aged 10 to 12, especially for those starting out in the theater genre and for reading-promotion activities.
