In 'Edèn', Auður Ava Ólafsdóttir introduces us to Alba, an Icelandic linguist who travels the world studying endangered languages. Back in Iceland, Alba decides to cultivate her own eden: a garden in a lava field, as an act to counteract the ecological footprint. With a simple and transparent style, this novel is an ode to diversity and explores our ability to reinvent ourselves and fight against the paradoxes of existence. Winner of the Premi Llibreter 2025.
