«Eetlezen» is a book of stories and columns by Remco Campert, published by De Bezige Bij in 1987 in paperback (166 pages, in Dutch).
The book brings together 54 columns that Remco Campert published weekly in De Volkskrant between 1985 and 1987. The texts deal with everyday matters such as bicycle theft, babies, skiing or buying new clothes; in the first piece, «Gezond leven», the author decides to exercise more and gets up early to go to the pool.
The volume belongs to the Pocket -- 50 series and was nominated for the AKO/ECI Literatuurprijs in 1988.
Suitable for those who enjoy twentieth-century Dutch literature and humorous sketches in column form.
