«Ejecución» is the war novel by Sven Hassel, published in 1979 by Plaza & Janés in paperback (363 pages, in Spanish).
During World War II, the Old Man's platoon —with Little Brother and Porta among its men— is sent to the Russian-Finnish front, where it fights behind enemy lines. Hassel blends the extreme harshness of war, the crimes of Nazism and the cynical humor of soldiers in a raw and unflinching narrative.
It is the eleventh installment of the «Legión de los condenados» saga; the original title of the work is «Krigsret».
For fans of Sven Hassel and the «Legión de los condenados» series, as well as for readers of war fiction set during World War II.
Sven Hassel was the pen name of the Danish-born Børge Willy Redsted Pedersen known for his bestselling novels about German soldiers fighting in World War II. In Denmark he used the pen name Sven Hazel. He is one of the bestselling Danish authors, possibly second only to Hans Christian Andersen.
