«El accidente» is the novel of intrigue and love by Ismail Kadare, published by Círculo de Lectores in hardcover (272 pages, in Spanish).
A taxi crashes in Vienna and its two passengers, a man and a woman of Albanian origin, die. The investigation does not clarify the event: the driver believes the couple were about to kiss. The novel reconstructs their relationship, framed in the conflicts of the Balkans, between reality and hallucination.
Original title: «Aksidenti». Work originally published in 2004; this Spanish edition is from February 2010.
