«El alquimista impaciente» is a crime novel by Lorenzo Silva, published in 2000 by Círculo de Lectores in hardcover (311 pages, in Spanish).
A man appears naked and tied to a bed in a roadside motel, with no signs of violence. As in alchemy, patience will be the key.
This novel is the second installment in the Bevilacqua and Chamorro series and won the Premio Nadal in 2000.
