«El árbol de mi patio» is the children's story by Olga Xirinacs, with illustrations by Asun Balzola, published by Edebé in paperback (32 pages, in Spanish).
The tale starts from an everyday scene: a child notices the tree in his yard and, from that encounter, is invited to observe and appreciate the nearest natural surroundings. Asun Balzola's illustrations accompany this gaze and underscore the text's close, poetic tone.
It belongs to number 16 of the Irakurle collection; this edition, the 4th, presents the text in Spanish from the original in Basque.
Recommended for children aged 4 to 8, as reading that brings them closer to nature and to discovering their environment.
