Synopsis of El atasco y demás fábulas
Escritas a lo largo de más de cuarenta años, las fábulas reunidas en este volumen carecen de animales, sentimentalismo e intención ejemplarizante. Son una serie de apuntes, aforismos o juegos de palabras que sirven al autor como una herramienta de análisis y crítica satírica del mundo contemporáneo. Con humor y aliento lírico y onírico, siguen siendo absolutamente pertinentes. Este experimento surgió como válvula de escape a la presión que suponía para el autor la dedicación a su obra magna Antagonía. Los dos primeros volúmenes de este proyecto fueron publicados por Anagrama con los títulos Ojos, círculos, búhos y Devoraciones, en 1970 y 1976, respectivamente, a los que siguen Una sonrisa a través de una lágrima, en 1981, y, ahora, El atasco, que completa dicho experimento.
