«El bellaco durmiente» is the children's novel by Dimas Mas, published by Anaya Infantil y Juvenil in paperback (160 pages, in Spanish).
Elia and her brother listen every night to the stories their grandmother tells them before bed. One of those stories recounts what happened to their father when he was a child: one day he decided to always walk with his eyes closed, even on the way to school. Nothing could make him open them until the help of a good friend, also in need of help, proved effective. But did it really happen that way?
It belongs to the Sopa de Libros collection, number 40, with illustrations by Federico Delicado.
A suitable read for children and young people aged 8 to 15 who enjoy stories told by grandparents.
