El bosque

Synopsis of El bosque

«El bosque» is an interactive children's book by James Gourier about nature, published by Ediciones SM in hardcover (30 pages, in Spanish).

The book invites readers to peek into forest life: which animals hide underground, which live in trees, how to recognize species, and how the landscape changes with each season. It includes spinning wheels, windows, and fold-out flaps for learning through play.

Fifth volume in the Mi mundo collection, published in 2005, with illustrations by Jérôme Ruilier and Lise Herzog and translated from French by Pilar Tutor.

Aimed at curious 6-to-12-year-olds, it combines nature and play, and works both for accompanied reading and for children to explore on their own.
