«Premios Planeta 1963-1966» is the collection of the four prize-winning novels by Luis Romero, Concha Alós, Rodrigo Rubio and Marta Portal, in paperback.
It brings together the novels that won the Premio Planeta from 1963 to 1966. «El cacique», by Luis Romero, takes place in a village during the little more than thirty hours following the death of the man who had dominated it for years: the local powers-that-be rush to pay homage to the new boss, and the oppressive cycle repeats itself.
«El cacique» won the Premio Planeta in 1963; «Las hogueras», in 1964; «Equipaje de amor para la tierra», in 1965; «A tientas y a ciegas», in 1966.
For readers of contemporary Spanish fiction who want to discover the first winners of the Premio Planeta.
