«El caganer» is the children's story created by Equip Susaeta, with illustrations by Kasandra, published by Susaeta in paperback (24 pages, in Catalan).
Núria, a very bright little girl, doesn't quite see the caganer in a good light, that singular little man who appears crouching in the nativity scene. Following her gaze, the story brings young readers closer to this figure so rooted in Catalan festivities and traditions.
It is part of the collection «Contes i tradicions catalanes»; the edition was published on September 8, 2015.
Recommended for boys and girls aged 4 and up, especially suitable for readers who want to learn about Catalan Christmas traditions.
