«El camí de Marwan» is the children's picture book by Patricia de Arias, published by El Cep i la Nansa Edicions in hardcover (32 pages, in Catalan).
Marwan must flee war and hunger with his mother, on a journey across seas and deserts toward a safe place. Her voice accompanies him and sustains his hope. The story brings the reality of refugees to young readers and shows how empathy and resilience can be born even in adversity.
Published in 2017, it is the fifth title in the Tresors collection, with illustrations by Laura Borràs.
For children aged 6 and up, and for readers who want to approach the reality of refugees from a child's perspective.
