«El camino más corto» is Manuel Leguineche's travel chronicle, published by Círculo de Lectores in hardcover (473 pages, in Spanish).
The book recounts the round-the-world trip by car that Manuel Leguineche undertook with a group of journalists. Between travel chronicle and reportage, it captures the experience of the road, encounters with people and places, and the author's reflections on the countries he crosses; it includes temporal leaps evoking later visits to those same destinations.
