«El cas de la gata blanca» is a children's mystery book by Ursel Scheffler, illustrated by Hannes Gerber, published by Edicions del Pirata in paperback.
Each chapter is a short detective case; at the end a question is posed and the solution appears in a magnifying glass with inverted letters, readable with a mirror or against the light. There are mysteries such as a theft without a thief, a golden clock, or a fortune-teller who seems to hide something; on one occasion Commissioner Simili of Paris solves a case before Llampec.
Volume 9 of the Comissari Llampec collection. Originally published in German as Die schneeweiße Katze; Catalan translation by Ramon Montona i Lara.
For children aged 10 and up, especially for reluctant readers, with short cases that invite them to participate as detectives.
