El castell de la puresa is a work by the Catalan poet, translator, and literary critic Pere Gimferrer. In this book, Gimferrer returns to Catalan poetry after twelve years, offering a collection of poems that explore the limits of language and personal transformation. Considered one of the fundamental poets of Catalan poetry in recent decades, Gimferrer presents a baroque, avant-garde, and provocative work that dazzles with each rereading.
Pere Gimferrer Torrens is a Spanish poet, translator and novelist. He is twice winner of Spain's Premio Nacional de Poesía.
