«El chico del ukelele» is a book of ten short stories by David Rees, published by Nube de Tinta in paperback (192 pages, in Spanish).
David Rees blends life and fiction in ten stories revolving around the doubts and emotions of adolescence: love over the internet, the pressure to choose studies, school bullying, self-acceptance and the search for one's own voice. Music, the ukulele and relationships with friends and family appear as a common thread in tender, everyday stories about growing up and overcoming challenges.
The book is illustrated by Hittouch and was originally published on October 24, 2019.
Aimed at young readers aged 12 and up, especially those looking for relatable stories about adolescence or who follow David Rees.
