«El cielo encendido y otros misterios» is the collection of children's stories and poems by Emilio Calderón, published by Anaya Infantil y Juvenil in 2004, in paperback with 72 pages.
The work brings together seven stories and two poems whose common thread is imagination: shooting stars appear, the Sun and the Moon, a boy who dreams of being a firefighter, a girl who boasts of knowing everything, a teacher who tells fascinating stories, planets that dance and a television contest where someone claims that the Earth is rectangular like a book.
It belongs to the El Duende Verde collection, from the Children's Literature series, number 137. The text is in Spanish.
Aimed at young readers aged 9 and up, it suits independent early readers who enjoy short fantasy tales and curiosity about the universe.
