«El cocodrilo no sirve, es dragón» is a children's book by Francisco Hinojosa, published by Alfaguara in paperback (85 pages, in Spanish).
A humorous story in which a crocodile stops working as a crocodile and turns out to be a dragon; the initial confusion unleashes a zany plot full of misunderstandings, with a tone close to the absurd.
It belongs to the Infantil Alfaguara series. The illustrations are by El Fisgón. First edition published by Alfaguara in 1998.
Aimed at child readers aged 10 and up; its short length and humorous tone make it suitable for independent reading.
