«El Colorín Colorado» is the children's story by Ramón García Domínguez, published by Editorial Everest in paperback (48 pages, in Spanish).
El Colorín Colorado, the phrase that ends all children's stories, calls the author on the phone to ask why he only appears at the end and to ask him to invent a story where he is the protagonist, like Little Red Riding Hood or Puss in Boots. The author accepts the challenge and turns him into the hero of his own adventure.
First edition published in 2007, part of the Leer es vivir collection and includes illustrations by Manuel Sierra.
For children aged 6 to 10 who are starting to read alone or with help, with a story that plays with classic fairy-tale characters.
