Synopsis of El columpio

After her mother's death, a young woman decides to embark on a journey to a lost corner of the Pyrenees in search of her origins. There she will meet her uncles Bebo, Lucas, and Tomás, and will stay at the Casa de la Torre. She will travel through the places where her mother played diabolo and her uncles built canals in the garden, or took turns swinging Eloísa, their beloved Eloísa. However, not everything turns out to be as pleasant as in the old photographs that the narrator has brought with her. Other snapshots will be added to these, each time more disconcerting and enigmatic. Only at the end will the young woman understand her amazing role in this disturbing album of alien memories.
