«El conde que no tenía ni escudo ni bandera» is the popular legend adapted by Xavier Blanch and illustrated by El Persas, published by La Galera in hardcover.

These are times of wars and knights in armor. The noble Lord Wifredo, before dying, needs to settle the symbols of his counties: an emblem, a shield and a banner. El Persas's illustrations recreate castles, horses and scenes from that medieval world.

It has 32 pages and belongs to the Popular collection (no. 57). Published in 2001, the edition is in Spanish and comes from a legend of Catalan origin.
