«El curioso caso de Benjamin Button» is a short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald, published by Alisis in paperback (80 pages, bilingual edition in Spanish and English).
The story imagines Benjamin Button, who is born with the appearance of an old man and ages in reverse: over time he leaves old age behind and passes through maturity, youth, and infancy. The absurd premise allows F. Scott Fitzgerald to combine humor with a melancholic look at the absurdity of existence.
The story is included in «Cuentos de la era del jazz» (1922). Edition from the «Audiobooks. Libros bilingües» collection; includes an audio CD with the recording in English.
For language students and readers who want to read the original with the support of the translation and the English audio.
Novelista estadounidense del siglo XX, retratista de la era del jazz y autor de El gran Gatsby, una de las novelas centrales de su siglo.
