«El currículum vitae de Dios» is the philosophical humor book by Jean-Louis Fournier, published by Edicions 62 in hardcover (170 pages, in Spanish).
God, after creating the universe, feels empty and bored; he has lost faith even in himself. To regain a purpose, he decides to look for work and, like any mortal, writes his résumé. The work combines existentialist satire with the author's characteristic irreverent humor.
Originally published in French as «Le C.V. de Dieu» in 1995, this is the first book by Fournier translated into Spanish.
Recommended for readers who enjoy irony and playful reflection on religion and the human condition, as long as they are not offended by a lighthearted approach.
Jean-Louis Fournier is a French writer, and winner of the Prix Femina, 2008, for Où on va, papa?.
