«El dedo que no era un finger» is the children's novel by Paloma Bordons, published by Ediciones SM in paperback (96 pages, in Spanish and English).

Spiky accompanies his brother Juanjo to England, but when left alone with Jane, Juanjo's girlfriend, he gets caught up in a tangle full of misunderstandings with English. A finger that is not a "finger", the meaning of "a veggie sauge" and the Russian mafia turn the trip into an adventure where nothing is what it seems.
