«El diario de Edith» is the autobiographical testimony of Edith Velmans, published by RBA Coleccionables in hardcover (288 pages, in Spanish).
Edith Velmans was thirteen when she began writing this diary in The Hague. With the Nazi occupation, she was hidden in the home of gentile acquaintances under a false identity. She had to conceal her Jewish origin and silently receive the news of her family's death, until she survived the Holocaust and told it in this testimony.
This Spanish edition belongs to the Testimonios de mujer collection; it is the translation of the original English Edith's Story, signed by Josefina Ruiz.
For readers interested in Holocaust testimonies, survival memoirs and Second World War history.
