El diario de Miguel

Synopsis of El diario de Miguel

«El diario de Miguel» is the young adult novel by José Luis Ferris, published by Oxford University Press España in paperback (128 pages, in Spanish).

Miguel, who dreams of being a poet, writes his diary even though his father forces him to leave school to tend the livestock. His admission to the School of Poets changes his life, and there he makes new friends. His story, seemingly unique, hints at figures and moments from the life of the poet Miguel Hernández.

Published in 2010, it is part of the El Árbol de la Lectura collection from Oxford University Press España.

For young people aged 12 and up, it is a reading with a regular presence in schools due to its connection with the figure of Miguel Hernández.
