«El doctor Zhivago» is the historical and romantic novel by Boris Pasternak, published by RBA in paperback (446 pages, in Spanish).
The novel follows Yuri Zhivago, a doctor and poet, through the years of the Russian Revolution and the civil war. His personal life and his relationship with Lara are marked by the turbulent century he lives through; the work portrays uprootedness, violence, and the need to preserve one's own humanity and artistic vocation.
This 1994 edition belongs to the «Narrativa actual» collection (no. 8) and includes the Spanish translation by Yolanda Martínez from the Russian original «Doktor Zhivago».
For readers of historical fiction and Russian literature, as well as for those seeking a 20th-century classic about revolution and individual destiny.
