«El evangelio de María Magdalena» is a spirituality book by Daniel Meurois, published by Luciérnaga CAS in paperback (168 pages, in Spanish).
The book argues that the awakening of consciousness may be linked to a more feminine sensibility and that Mary Magdalene, far from being the repentant sinner, was the first disciple of Christ and the inspiration behind a gospel. Meurois recovers from the memory of time the incomplete nineteenth-century manuscript and offers a restored version.
The work, translated from French by María Méndez Gómez, belongs to the Biblioteca Meurois-Givaudan collection.
For readers interested in spirituality, in reinterpretations of Christianity, and in the figure of Mary Magdalene.
