«El evangelio de San José» is the religious essay by Román Llamas, published by Editorial de Espiritualidad in paperback (320 pages, in Spanish).
The author studies the mentions of Saint Joseph in the Gospels to discover his mission as husband of Mary and father of Jesus in the mystery of salvation. He gathers the evangelical seed developed by faith, theology and mysticism, and seeks to awaken sincere devotion and love for the saint, whom Saint Teresa of Jesus called «the best advocate».
The work is number 84 of the Logos collection; its first edition dates from 2005.
Suitable for readers of Christian spirituality interested in the figure of Saint Joseph, with a popularizing approach aimed at fostering devotion.
