«El flautista d'Hamelín» is the classic children's tale by an anonymous author, published by La Galera in hardcover (24 pages, in Catalan).
In this adaptation of the folk tale, the town of Hamelin suffers a plague of rats. When all seems lost, a piper dressed in red, with a bell-adorned hat, appears and offers to rid the town of the rats in exchange for a reward. When the agreed payment is not received, his actions change the town's fate.
It belongs to the Popular collection, number 34. Adapted by Jaume Cela with illustrations by Cristina Losantos. It is the first edition, published in 1997.
