«El follet Oriol i la llança màgica» is the children's fantasy tale by Òscar Sardà, published by Barcanova in hardcover (40 pages, in Catalan).
The elf Oriol sets out to recover the lance that protected his people, stolen by a knight who wants to defend his own from a dragon. Along the way he discovers that the lance is not an ordinary weapon nor the dragon as fierce as they make it out to be. He will have to recover the lance, get the knight not to attack the dragon and restore peace to the kingdom of Babalot.
Published in 2013, it is part of the El follet Oriol series and the Sopa de Contes collection.
Aimed at early readers: it combines a long text to read aloud with a sentence in print letters summarizing each page.
