«El follet Oriol i l'home de les neus» is the children's story by Òscar Sardà, published by Barcanova in hardcover (40 pages, in Catalan).
The village elves are worried because the well and the lake have dried up. To end the drought, Oriol climbs the mountains to look for snow and has small adventures along the way. At the top, as he prepares to throw the snowball that will bring water to his village, a huge hairy creature appears, the yeti, and threatens him.
Published in 2006, it belongs to the Sopa de contes collection and the El follet Oriol series, with two text modes: a long reading for the adult and a summarized sentence in capital letters for the child.
Recommended for early readers aged 5 to 8, suitable both for independent reading and for reading aloud with an adult.
