«El fulgor» is a poetry collection by José Ángel Valente, published by Ediciones Cátedra in paperback (44 pages, in Spanish).
The collection conceives poetry as an act of knowledge: the word makes reality appear at the moment of writing and becomes a revelatory journey, rather than a simple vehicle of communication.
Published in Madrid in 1984, it is the first edition and belongs to the Poesía/Cátedra series.
José Ángel Valente Docasar was a Spanish poet of the Generation of '50, an essayist, and a translator, who wrote in Spanish and Galician.
