«El gat amb botes» is the theatrical adaptation of Charles Perrault's classic tale, published by La Galera in paperback (32 pages, in Catalan).
Volume from the Teatrí collection with the theatrical adaptation of Perrault's tale and didactic material for performing it: drama games, staging advice and guidelines for characterizing the characters. The project proposes doing theater as a collective game, in which an imaginary world is built and unknown characters are interpreted.
Adaptation by Agnès Rotger with illustrations by Francesc Rovira. First title in the Teatrí collection; aimed at readers aged 6 and up.
Designed to spark interest in the performing arts, it works both for play at home and for use in the classroom.

Charles Perrault was a French author and member of the Académie Française. He laid the foundations for a new literary genre, the fairy tale, with his works derived from earlier folk tales, published in his 1697 book Histoires ou contes du temps passé. The best known of his tales include "Little Red Riding Hood", "Cinderella", "Puss in Boots", "Sleeping Beauty", and "Bluebeard".
