«El Gran Amic Gegant» is the children's novel by Roald Dahl, with illustrations by Quentin Blake, published in Catalan by Ed. de la Magrana.
The protagonist of this work is a kind-hearted giant, far from the fearsome image giants usually have. Through his escapades, the story offers young readers an adventure, with an imaginative tone and gentle humor, and shows how a different character can win the trust of others.
Catalan translation by Carles Urritz and Carme Geronès; the edition was published in 1987.
For children and young adult audiences, especially those who want to approach a work featuring an endearing giant.
