«El granate de Amarilis» is a young adult novel by Carmen Gómez Ojea, published by Edebé in 1998 in paperback (86 pages, in Spanish).
The narrative begins when a woman, seeing herself reflected in a store window, considers herself a horrible sight: she has just been insulted and is in a very bad mood. Hidden under her clothes is a ring with a stone of a strange red color, and that detail, linked to the title, weaves the intrigue around its protagonist.
It is number 2 in Edebé's Nómadas collection. Paperback edition of 86 pages, published in Barcelona in 1998.
Aimed at young readers interested in young adult literature and short stories with an adult protagonist.
