«El Greco» is the art book by Raquel Medina and Elisa Arnau, published by Susaeta in paperback (96 pages, in Spanish).
A journey through the life and work of the Cretan painter El Greco (1541-1614), who settled in Toledo after traveling through Italy. There he managed to combine the Byzantine art of his origins with Italian and Spanish painting, and developed a mystical style that elongates forms and makes his portraits and compositions works of timeless air.
Part of Susaeta's «Pintores de siempre» collection, published on February 5, 2015 in Spanish.
Aimed at readers interested in art history and painting, recommended for ages 16 and up.
