El poemario 'El grum i la morca' de Antoni Espí Cardona ofrece una mirada serena sobre la vida y la esperanza, simbolizadas por la flor del olivo (el grum), sin ignorar el sabor amargo del dolor y la muerte, representados por el sedimento del aceite (la morca). El título del libro establece una alegoría llena de imágenes de la naturaleza y figuras con alma. El poemario se divide en tres partes: 'Natura viva', centrada en el ciclo vegetal del olivo; 'Paisatge amb figures', que transcurre junto al mar y evoca placidez con indicios de sufrimiento; y 'Les morques', la sección más dolorosa, que aborda defectos humanos y la muerte de seres queridos. Este libro fue galardonado con el VIII Premio de Poesía Joan Perucho Vila d'Ascó.
