«El Hombre Que Nunca Existió» is the historical essay by Ben Macintyre, published by Círculo de Lectores in paperback (474 pages, in Spanish).
The work reconstructs Operation Mincemeat: British intelligence services sent a corpse loaded with false documents to the Nazis off the coast of Huelva, to simulate that the Allied invasion would come from another point and thus divert their attention from the landing in Sicily.
The Spanish edition is translated by María Alejandra Chaparro Martínez and Luis A. Noriega Hederich. The original, «Operation Mincemeat», was published in 2010.
For readers interested in World War II, real espionage stories, and secret military operations.
