«El jardín a la luz de la luna» is the mystery, history and romance novel by Corina Bomann, published by EMBOLSILLO in paperback (464 pages, in Spanish).
Lilly Kaiser, an antiquarian in Berlin, receives from an old man an antique violin and a score titled «El jardín a la luz de la luna». With a musicologist friend, she follows the trail of the instrument to early 20th-century Sumatra, where violinist Rose Gallway lived a love story linked to that violin and to Lilly's past.
The Spanish edition translates the original German novel «Der Mondscheingarten», originally published in 2013, with translation by Valentín Ugarte Arrojo. The subtitle of the work is «Tras los pasos de una misteriosa partitura, de Berlín a la isla de Sumatra».
For readers of contemporary fiction and historical novels seeking a plot with mystery, music and travel.
