El jardín de los frailes es una novela del escritor español Manuel Azaña, publicada por primera vez en 1927. La obra narra las vivencias de un joven en un colegio religioso de El Escorial, donde el propio Azaña estudió. A través de la mirada del protagonista, el autor disecciona la atmósfera opresiva y las contradicciones de la educación religiosa, así como las inquietudes y anhelos de la juventud en un contexto social marcado por el poder de la Iglesia. Esta novela de formación es un retrato del artista adolescente y una reflexión sobre la necesidad de limitar el poder eclesiástico para la regeneración de España.
