«El laberinto» is the historical novel by Kate Mosse, published by Editorial Planeta in hardcover (496 pages, in Spanish).
In the mountains of Carcassonne, two women separated by eight centuries share a mission: to safeguard an ancient secret linked to the Holy Grail. In the thirteenth century, during the crusade against the Cathars, young Alaïs guards a book containing those keys; in the present day, archaeologist Alice Tanner finds clues to the same enigma in a cave in southern France. Three parchments and a labyrinth connect their stories.
First installment of the Languedoc Trilogy, completed by Sepulchre and Citadel. Winner of the British Book Award 2006.
For readers of historical fiction and mystery who enjoy stories of two intertwined eras.
