«El largo viaje del mensajero» is the work of fiction by Félix de Azúa, published by Anagrama in paperback and in Spanish.
A messenger travels a road that is at once physical and interior: along the way, solitude, lack of communication, and the search for meaning surface in a world that seems dehumanized. The prose of Félix de Azúa, elegant and sharp, sustains a questioning of certainties and a look at the contradictions of contemporary life.
The work is part of the collection La Pequeña Odisea. It was published on June 8, 2011.
For readers of fiction and of Félix de Azúa's work interested in journeys with an introspective backdrop.
Félix de Azúa Comella is a Spanish professor of aesthetics and philosophy, poet, novelist, essayist and translator, member of Real Academia Española.
