«El lugar sin límites» is the novel by José Donoso published by Bruguera in paperback, with 195 pages, in Spanish.
Set in a rural and uninhabited environment, the narrative focuses on the beings that populate it and their conflicts of aggression and madness. Donoso combines a classical gaze with a symbolic and tormented vision of the world, turning the myths that govern collective memory and feeling into protagonists.
The cover text notes that Donoso wrote the work in just over a year; this Bruguera edition is from 1984.
For readers of literature and fiction interested in José Donoso's narrative and rural settings with a psychological backdrop.

José Manuel Donoso Yáñez, was a Chilean writer, journalist and professor. He lived most of his life in Chile, although he spent many years in self-imposed exile in Mexico, the United States and Spain. Although he stated that he had left Chile in the 1960s for personal reasons, after 1973 his exile was also a form of protest against the dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet. He returned to Chile in 1981 and lived there until his death in 1996.
