«El manuscrit de les bèsties» is Jordi Folck's young adult horror novel, published by Barcanova in paperback (253 pages, in Catalan).
In a strict religious boarding school in England, the disappearance of pupils leads two orphaned siblings to distrust their headmaster. Beneath that discipline hides a sinister truth, and a manuscript holds the key to terrifying events. A plot that combines fear with reflection on intelligence in the service of evil.
The novel was published in 2004 in the Antaviana Jove collection (no. 63) by Editorial Barcanova.
For young readers of horror and mystery; the reflection on human evil broadens its appeal to adults.
