«El mensaje de la carta a los Hebreos» is Albert Vanhoye's biblical exegesis essay, published by Verbo Divino as a booklet (60 pages, in Spanish).
Vanhoye argues that the letter to the Hebrews does not come from Paul nor is it addressed to the Hebrews, but is a sermon intended for disoriented believers. It is the only New Testament writing that addresses the priesthood of Christ: Jesus, Son of God made like humans, opens the way to God through his sacrificial offering.
This work is number 19 in the Biblical Notebooks collection, and its first edition was published in 2006.
Aimed at readers interested in the Bible, theology, and New Testament exegesis.
